After practicing as a pediatric dentist for over 20 years, I have gradually shifted much of my clinical and professional focus toward prevention — the cornerstone of lifelong oral health. My journey in dentistry began as a dental hygienist, and prevention has always been a deep passion of mine.
Today, just as functional medicine is transforming how we prevent disease and promote longevity in general health, dentistry is evolving too. We now have access to amazing therapeutics and research that guide us in preventing oral disease more effectively than ever before.
At the heart of prevention lies a strong foundation: our diet and the health of our oral biome. I am committed to empowering families and young patients to build this foundation through education, personalized care, and the latest minimally invasive treatments.
My goal is to help every child develop a healthy, confident smile that lasts a lifetime — by preventing problems before they start and supporting overall wellness in every aspect of dental care.

Sealants

Sealants are thin protective coatings applied to the chewing surfaces of back teeth (molars and premolars) where grooves and pits can trap food and bacteria. By sealing these vulnerable areas, sealants act as a barrier that helps prevent tooth decay.
